Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Maintain and repair hotel equipment and facilities across guestrooms and public spaces, perform preventative maintenance, and complete maintenance work orders from all departments. Respond to guest requests promptly, prioritize and organize tasks, inspect public areas for issues, and perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool, lighting, and carpentry. Maintain records of maintenance activities, monitor fire life safety systems, and ensure security of guest rooms and hotel property. Requires ability to read test equipment and safety manuals, work under pressure, and communicate effectively with guests and colleagues. Ensure tools and equipment are kept in good condition and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to work holidays and weekends
- Mastery of at least three trade skills such as electronic systems and controls, mechanical, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, pool operations and general building maintenance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment and adhere to standard operating procedures
- Ability to read and understand test equipment, measuring devices, and safety manuals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
