Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial buildings and industrial systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and fire/life safety equipment. Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency response; install/modify equipment and building systems; maintain tools, ensure compliance with codes, and operate building automation systems. Requires 2+ years of experience, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and basic computer skills; compensation range $22.95–$27.00 hourly ($47,736–$56,160 annual) with benefits; location: Heber Springs, AR at client site. Additional duties include housekeeping, snow removal, and potential overtime or shift work as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license (commercial license may be required) and good driving record with periodic checks
- Basic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel & Word
