Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Assist in all aspects of property maintenance, including grounds, custodial, preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency repairs. Perform indoor and outdoor work while climbing stairs, ladders, and lifting equipment of varying weights. Utilize personal transportation to pick up supplies from vendors and respond promptly to general and specific maintenance issues. Conduct HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repairs while communicating effectively with residents, employees, vendors, and prospects. Obtain fair housing certification and maintain regular attendance. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Community Director and Maintenance Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Responsible for obtaining fair housing certification
- Regular and prompt attendance required
- Maintenance experience
- HVAC certification
- Electrical and plumbing experience
- Good organizational skills
