Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Assist in all aspects of property maintenance, including grounds, custodial, preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency repairs. Perform indoor and outdoor work involving climbing stairs, ladders, and lifting materials while utilizing personal transportation to pick up supplies from vendors. Execute HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repairs; recognize general and specific maintenance issues; and communicate effectively with residents, employees, vendors, and prospects. Obtain fair housing certification and maintain regular, prompt attendance. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Community Director and Maintenance Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Responsible for obtaining fair housing certification
- Regular and prompt attendance required
- Maintenance experience
- HVAC certification
- Electrical and plumbing experience
- Good organizational skills
