Job Summary
Perform maintenance duties as assigned by the Superintendent, including emergency repairs, structural wear and damage fixes, and groundskeeping. Maintain knowledge of utility shut-offs, fire safety equipment, and property systems while assisting with interior upkeep, custodial tasks, and appliance service. Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy and ensure common areas remain clean and safe in compliance with OSHA, ADA, and Fair Housing regulations. This role supports Clinton Plaza Apartments in Syracuse, NY, offering a competitive salary, 401(k) match, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of full-time maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair
- Must be able to pass a 3-year background check
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing
