Job Summary
Maintenance Technician at Cottonwood Reserve Apartments in Charlotte, NC. Perform repairs including plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry; troubleshoot HVAC; respond to after-hours emergencies with support from the Service Manager; read and follow safety and operating manuals; ensure customer-focused service and adherence to company standards. Requires EPA Type II or Universal certification; CPO is a plus; valid driver’s license; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs, ladders, and varied terrain; available to work a standard community schedule including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- EPA certification Type II or Universal
- CPO certification a plus
- Valid Driver's License
- Experience troubleshooting HVAC
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to walk/stand for long periods
- Ability to climb stairs/ladders/scaffolds
- Ability to work evenings/weekends
- On-call after-hours emergency service
