Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical, plumbing, A/C and heating systems, appliances, stairs, railings, and other community assets. Perform preventive maintenance, manage inventory and spare parts, and respond to resident/property emergencies. Ensure security systems and equipment are functional, and coordinate with staff to complete work orders on schedule. Requires EPA certification and 1-3 years of facilities/multi-family experience; on-call availability; training and growth opportunities provided by Cortland.
Required Qualifications
- EPA certification
- 1-3 years of experience in facilities services or multi-family resident satisfaction
- EPA & CPR certifications (in-house training)
- on-call shifts/schedules to assist with emergencies
