Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures in the building and assist in various maintenance tasks. Key responsibilities include conducting inspections and performing semi-skilled tasks in maintenance trades such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and mechanics. Candidates should have one year of experience in building maintenance, knowledge of hand tools, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various indoor/outdoor conditions.
Required Qualifications
- One year experience as a semi-skilled worker in building maintenance trades
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of related employment in building maintenance
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of manual and electrical hand tools
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
- Must be able to operate a forklift and light truck
- Experience in warehouse distribution operation
