Job Summary
Perform highly skilled maintenance tasks on state-of-the-art equipment, including troubleshooting, repairing, and testing foundry machinery using Standard to Advanced Maintenance skills. Review and execute preventive maintenance schedules while completing safety checklists, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and work orders. Communicate with operators and supervisors regarding repairs, major issues, and equipment supply needs. Operate mobile maintenance equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts. Document electrical experience is desirable, and annual RCRA training is required. Take out trash and clean up debris as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- General knowledge of trades
- 1-2 years experience in each trade
- Skilled in use of standard mechanical hand tools
- Ability to troubleshoot plant equipment with supervision
- Ability to operate mobile maintenance equipment: forklift, scissor lift, man lift
- Self-control
- Persistence
- Detail orientation
- Curiosity about new products and processes
- Good judgment
- Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or other protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act)
- Must pass a drug & background screen
