Job Summary
Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across apartment communities, including painting, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and cleaning; maintain grounds with landscaping, snow/ice removal, and seasonal upkeep; respond to work orders and rotate for emergency on-call coverage; ensure safety, property, and inspection standards; collaborate with peers and residents with empathy and pride in repairs; requires 2+ years of related experience, HS diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, reliable transportation, and basic computer/mobile-app skills for work orders/timekeeping; bilingual Spanish/English considered a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of apartment, residential, or facilities maintenance experience (painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, flooring; HVAC experience a plus)
- A high school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to cover overtime or nearby communities when needed
- Basic computer or mobile-app skills for work orders, timekeeping, and training (we’ll train you!)
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills, a plus that helps connect with our residents!
