Job Summary
Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems to ensure optimal performance. Address resident service requests for repairs and oversee unit turnovers by conducting inspections and cleaning to prepare apartments for new residents. Maintain community curb appeal through landscaping and exterior upkeep while collaborating with contractors and property management. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency services and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Requires 1-2 years of hands-on apartment maintenance experience, proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Full-time role with on-call duties at Levant Senior Cottages in San Diego, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in apartment maintenance
- Proficiency in plumbing
- Proficiency in electrical systems
- Proficiency in HVAC
- Proficiency in appliance repair
- Proficiency in general carpentry
- Ability to operate and maintain various hand tools
- Ability to operate and maintain power equipment such as drills, saws, grinders, electrical testers, HVAC systems, and plumbing tools
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Passing a background check
