Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances; address resident service requests and repairs; oversee unit turnovers and ensure move-in readiness; maintain the community’s curb appeal through landscaping and exterior upkeep; collaborate with technicians, contractors, and property management; participate in on-call after-hours maintenance; ensure safety and compliance with operational standards; perform additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years hands-on experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent
- Proficiency in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, appliance repair, and general carpentry
- Technical skills with hand tools and power equipment (drills, saws, grinders, electrical testers, HVAC tools, plumbing tools)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-focused approach to residents and team
- Flexibility and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
