Job Summary
This role performs preventive maintenance across manufacturing operations, troubleshoots and repairs equipment, ensures food-safety compliance (HACCP, GMP), maintains conveyors and production machinery, reads technical drawings, supports contractors, logs work orders in SAP, and maintains a safe, documented, and efficient shift operation.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- at least two years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment OR a two-year technical degree
- Mechanical systems knowledge (drive trains, belts, pulleys, sprockets, chains)
- Electrical systems knowledge (110V single-phase; 230V/480V three-phase)
- PLC operation and basic troubleshooting
- Motor controls and system diagnostics
- Fabrication/welding/grinding/assembly
- Hydraulic systems (motors, pumps, valves)
- Pneumatic systems (air valves and controls)
- Ability to work overtime and weekends
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to train and participate in ongoing education and development
