Job Summary
Develop a schedule of basic maintenance tasks and complete required maintenance plans for residential homes, facilities, and vehicles. Install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems and structural components including appliances, fans, lights, flooring, carpets, paneling, doors, and perform basic electrical or plumbing work. Ensure all repairs are made timely, safely, and in compliance with local laws and regulations. Advise management when outside contractors are necessary and review their estimates to ensure accuracy and reasonable costs. Cooperate with license and department staff during any inspections or investigations. This full-time role in Camp Hill, PA, offers a starting pay of $26.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Three years of maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license
- Satisfactory driving record
- Ability to work safely with hands and power tools
- Experience with problem solving against multiple priorities
- Completion of all state and agency required training per state guidelines
- Successful completion of criminal background checks
- Successful completion of central registry checks
- Successful completion of child abuse registry checks
- Successful completion of drug testing
