Job Summary
Provide preventative and episodic maintenance, service, and repair for mechanical, electrical, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and other services across multiple sites. Perform occasional installations or relocation of furniture, equipment, and decorative items. Conduct home repairs for participants as authorized by Community LIFE Interdisciplinary Teams. Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools while adhering to occupational hazards and safety precautions. Maintain high standards of quality through strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Requires a valid PA Driver's License, one year of maintenance experience, and trade school training.
Required Qualifications
- Trade school or other relevant training in applicable field
- One year experience in the maintenance field (preferably in healthcare facility maintenance)
- Valid PA Driver's License
- Experience in maintenance trades
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Must be able to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools
- Broad based knowledge of building codes
- Must have strong communication skills
- Ability to accept and utilize supervision to maintain high standards of quality
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong team building and conflict resolution skills
- Dependable, resourceful and flexible
- Basic computer use
- Must be available for weekends due to need
