Job Summary
Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment in a production/fabrication environment; perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and routine servicing of machinery and vehicles; repair or replace worn parts per manufacturer specs; dismantle/reassemble equipment; operate and inspect vehicles and heavy equipment; conduct tests to verify performance; read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics; utilize diagnostic tools and calibration devices; perform welding and machining tasks; maintain records and communicate equipment status to supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of driving experience with a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience using a variety of shop tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, particularly when coordinating with equipment operators
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Must be safety-conscious and adhere to company and regulatory safety guidelines
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
