Job Summary
Conduct expert-level break-fix and preventive maintenance on complex mechanical and electrical systems, including predictive analysis via infrared thermography, vibration, and laser interferometry. Program, troubleshoot, and analyze control systems to resolve software and hardware configuration issues while independently performing machining operations on lathes, drill presses, and grinders. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive cost savings, source parts and engineered solutions, and update CMMS records and documentation. Train less proficient technicians, perform welding tasks, and prepare technical inputs for sales quotations and repair proposals in compliance with safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Associates degree with a Technical focus and 7 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 10 years of experience in specific industry
- Proficiency in predictive technologies including vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment
- Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs
- Must be able to use hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
- May be required to travel
