Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment across CMC’s recycling/ fabrication operations. Tasks include troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, keeping accurate service records, following operating instructions, and supporting safety programs. Requires experience with hydraulics/pneumatics, wiring, welding and fabrication, ability to read technical manuals/diagrams, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and overtime as needed. Must possess a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and a valid driver's license. Willingness to work in an industrial environment and collaborate with a team to keep equipment operating and meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Welding, cutting, and fabrication skills
- Experience with hydraulics/pneumatics, wiring, and working on heavy equipment
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical documents, diagrams, and service manuals
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods in an industrial environment
- Ability to work overtime as necessary
- Capable of pulling, reaching, bending, climbing and kneeling
- Team player with strong work ethic and attention to detail
