Job Summary
Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and landscaping to ensure tenant units and facilities operate safely. Respond promptly to work orders, track tasks in Yardi, and coordinate vendor activity while participating in an after-hours on-call rotation. Perform routine property inspections for move-outs and compliance with city codes, accompany inspectors on move-in visits, and manage truck inventory to support timely operations. Maintain OSHA and Fair Housing compliance, report safety hazards, and complete administrative documentation including mileage logs and policy deadlines. Requires a high school diploma, one to two years of apartment maintenance experience, and proficiency in trade skills, electrical systems, and power tools. Full-time role with health, vision, dental, PTO, and 401(k) benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Personal vehicle for transportation of self and equipment/tools between properties
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- Valid auto-insurance
- Proficient skill in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, general carpentry, and appliance repair
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various physical positions, including standing, bending, climbing, and kneeling
- Ability to operate hand and power tools commonly used in maintenance tasks
