Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform hands-on fault diagnosis and repair of plant equipment to minimize operational downtime. Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to schedule preventive and breakdown maintenance, manage spare parts inventory, and conduct regular inspections with full documentation. Lead capital projects including coordination with external contractors while ensuring schedule adherence and expenditure control. Provide technical expertise during equipment installation and acceptance testing, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards to foster a zero-harm environment. Drive continuous improvement in safety, cost efficiency, and service delivery through best maintenance practices. Join the Operations team in Kraaifontein supporting a global logistics network.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Millwright
- Minimum N4 qualification
- Minimum 5 years' plant maintenance experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
- Ability to work effectively in a shift-based operation
Desired Qualifications
- PLC maintenance
- Siemens, Allen Bradley, Delta or Festo systems
- Robotics experience, including YASKAWA
- Experience leading teams within a unionized environment
