Job Summary
Maintenance Technician to provide responsive and efficient maintenance services for Lawson-managed multifamily properties in Virginia Beach. Responsibilities include performing repairs and replacements across HVAC systems, gas and electric appliances, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, masonry, carpentry, and related tasks; on-call emergency coverage; adherence to preventive maintenance procedures; ensuring resident satisfaction by completing work within 24 hours; reporting resident work requests to the Supervisor; and contributing to a collaborative team environment with a focus on quality workmanship and safety.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- minimum of one (1) year maintenance trade experience
- Possess minimum Type I & II CFC Refrigerant Certification in accordance with 40 CFR Part 82, Subpart F or possess the ability to obtain the designation within one (1) years’ time
- Formal training in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall installation or air conditioning (as applicable)
- Licensed driver with good driving record (preferred)
- Ability to drive a golf cart
