Job Summary
Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, boilers, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances while completing work orders and turnovers efficiently. Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs, conduct routine inspections of common areas and building systems, and respond promptly to emergencies or safety issues. Participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent maintenance needs and support nearby properties as required. Assist residents with maintenance concerns while maintaining budgets related to repairs and capital improvements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Personal hand tools
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in residential or property maintenance
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Trade or vocational training
