Job Summary
Inspect facilities, perform routine maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and respond to urgent repair requests while coordinating larger projects. Comply with OSHA standards, government licensing, and safety requirements to maintain interior and exterior building functionality. Keep school grounds clear and functional through all seasons, occasionally traveling up to 30 miles to assist at other San Jose campuses. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm with occasional overtime opportunities. Maintain a safe, functional campus environment for students and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable personal vehicle (mileage paid)
- General knowledge/experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, and carpentry
- Ability to pass background check
- Completion of pre-employment assessments
- Occasionally travel to other San Jose campuses to assist with maintenance tasks- 30 mile radius
