Job Summary
Complete work orders and general maintenance repairs for an assigned portfolio of Centurion apartment buildings in Edmonton. Handle resident inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally while ensuring properties meet corporate standards and budget constraints. Operate properties consistently with approved annual budgets, administer minor maintenance, and maintain accurate records for resident chargebacks. Schedule and complete building preventative maintenance, keep grounds clean, and ensure vacant apartments are rent-ready. Participate in a rotational on-call schedule covering evenings and weekends to respond promptly to after-hours emergencies. Minimum of 2-3 years' general maintenance experience and aptitude for carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years' of general maintenance and repairs
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented; able to resolve problems using facts, sound reasoning and common sense
- Strong follow-up skills with the ability to effectively resolve difficult issues in a timely manner
- Aptitude for and ability to complete minor maintenance repairs (carpentry, plumbing, electrical)
- Ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects, including garbage bins, furniture and appliances
- A passion for excellence in customer service delivery
