Job Summary
Maintenance Technician for apartment communities handling plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance maintenance; respond to maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues with a hands-on toolbelt, prepare units for new residents, maintain property grounds and safety, assist in on-call rotations, and collaborate with the on-site manager and property-management team. Requires 1+ year of maintenance or related experience and skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and appliance repair; strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities; basic personal tools; ability to lift up to 75 lbs; background check clearance; English and Spanish speaking preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in general maintenance or a similar field
- Skills in basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and appliance repair
- Must pass a background check
