Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Conduct advanced technical troubleshooting and repair for all plant equipment, including robotics, hydraulics, and power systems. Coordinate maintenance, repair, and installation work while diagnosing operational issues using blueprints and standard operating procedures. Lead preventative maintenance activities, inspect for defects, and develop sequenced repair courses of action. Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to establish process stability, manage downtime in a Lean environment, and ensure equipment reliability. Perform minor electrical and mechanical work, maintain up-to-date spare parts, and provide documentation and training. Operate on a 2-2-3 12-hour shift from 6PM to 6AM.
Required Qualifications
- Associate (AS) degree in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance or relevant field
- 1 year of industrial maintenance and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with PLC's
- Experience with PC's
- Experience with HMI's
- Experience with AC and DC Adjustable Speed Drives
- Experience with power distribution
- Experience with hydraulic control systems
- Experience with associated interface equipment
- Experience with associated test equipment (i.e. chart recorders, data acquisition, oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Leadership qualities
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Teaching skills
- Ability to prepare reports
- Ability to conduct presentations
- Schedule: 2-2-3 12-hour shift 6PM-6AM
- Must be able to meet safety requirements including ANSI fall protection expectations
Desired Qualifications
- Associate (AS) degree in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance or relevant field, or an equivalent number of years of education and relevant maintenance experience preferred
- 1 year of industrial maintenance and troubleshooting experience preferred
