Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for completing service requests, preparing vacant apartments (turns), performing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks, maintaining community grounds and facilities, and responding to emergency/after-hours calls. Must have basic tools, reliable transportation, and be available for on-call rotations; requires a high school diploma or GED, painting experience, and knowledge of building systems. Role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, safety compliance, inventory management, and collaboration within a team. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous maintenance or handyman experience (multifamily preferred)
- Painting experience required
- HVAC experience preferred; EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) a plus
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems
- Ability to be part of an on-call rotation
- Must have basic tools and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
