Job Summary
Prepare market-ready apartments through painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general maintenance. Respond to resident requests promptly while maintaining grounds, pools, and common areas to ensure safety and cleanliness. Perform scheduled repairs across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. Walk the property for inspections and report concerns on vacant units or models. Work evenings or weekends for emergencies while adhering to fair housing laws and company safety training. Maintain tools and equipment per standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be willing to work evenings or weekends (on call) in the case of an emergency
- Must be a team player
- Must take great pride in your work
- Must be able to assist residents with issues within their home
- Must provide the best customer service
- Must be a jack of all trades with general knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair and electrical
- Must be able to prepare Market Ready apartments, which may include painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping duties
- Must respond to resident requests in a timely manner and with a professional attitude
- Must have knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, general carpentry skills and painting
- Must maintain grounds, pools/ hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to keep clean, operational, and safe for our residents
- Must report any maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas, to the Maintenance Supervisor
- Must perform inspections by walking property
- Must perform maintenance as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Must be knowledgeable of state, local, and federal fair housing laws
- Must attend and participate in training and safety programs as required by WWC
- Must perform duties as assigned, in a timely manner
- Must deliver superior customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times
- Must dress per WWC appearance standards
- Must maintain and safeguard all company tools and equipment
- Must be able to perform all essential functions satisfactorily
- Must be able to perform regular use of complex machines and equipment (desktop/laptop computer and software, road and production machines and equipment, etc.) with ability to manage work through digital means
- Must ensure a safe and hazard free living and working environment
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must have attention to detail
- Must have professional appearance and demeanor
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC, EPA and CPO certifications preferred
