Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Maintenance Technician at Brookfield Properties responsible for HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical/appliance work, and machinery maintenance within apartment communities. Duties include repairs, replacements, installations (sinks, toilets, doors, shelves, countertops, locks, lighting, wiring), and ensuring quality customer service in a team environment. Qualifications include 1-2 years of experience in commercial or multi-unit residential properties, High School Diploma/GED (additional 3-4 years of experience can offset education), and preferred certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing. May require a valid driver’s license and occasional weekend work. English communication is required; multilingual skills are a plus. Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of required experience in Commercial Property or Multi-Unit Residential Property
- High School Diploma/GED
- Preferred HVAC Electrical or Plumbing certifications
- Possibly valid driver’s license depending on property needs
- Self-motivated, team-player, strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, written and spoken
- Weekend work may be required
- Multilingual skills a plus
