Job Summary
Complete work orders and other community maintenance for the 324-unit Brookes Edge apartment complex. Strive to maintain property appearance at or above quality standards by cleaning buildings and amenities. Identify needed maintenance and liability hazards, then report them to the Manager. Prepare vacant apartments for move-in by reviewing make-ready boards and executing repairs and replacements for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional on-call rotation and additional pay.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of general maintenance experience
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
- Require to work odd schedules
- be on call
Desired Qualifications
- EPA universal license for HVAC preferred
- CPO license preferred
- HVAC Certification preferred
- ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment
- ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems
- ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- ability to troubleshoot and repair all major appliances including washer and dryer
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- college-level/trade school preferred
- Basic computer proficiency preferred
- Bilingual is a plus
