Job Summary
Oversee apartment preparation for move-in by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and conducting repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems. Perform routine inspections of community grounds and buildings to ensure safety standards are met, then restore units to "make-ready" condition before tenant occupancy. Respond promptly to tenant requests while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations, including Fair Housing guidelines. This hands-on role requires lifting up to 100 lbs, working outdoors in varying weather, and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- One to three (1-3) years of experience in performing general maintenance duties
- Must be capable of lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
- Requires the ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, and kneel for extended periods
- Must be able to safely climb ladders and stairs as part of daily tasks
- Strong ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC, EPA, and CPO certifications preferred
