Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems, AS/RS systems, cranes, and variable frequency drives. Diagnose malfunctioning electrical and mechanical apparatus, including transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, by inspecting faulty wiring and testing machinery. Perform routine maintenance using hand and power tools, electric meters, and materials handling equipment while following electrical codes and schematic diagrams. Coordinate and execute general building maintenance tasks such as plumbing, painting, and lighting repairs to ensure facilities remain in working order. Install new machines by wiring power supply conduits between equipment. This full-time remote role requires a high school diploma, 3-5 years of building maintenance experience, and comfort working in extreme heat and precarious heights.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance
- Comfortable with working in high or precarious places
- Comfortable working in extreme heat and around moving mechanical parts
- Results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
- Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician certification
