Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician will assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager with necessary repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the property, including residential apartments and common areas. Responsibilities involve maintaining property appearance, troubleshooting appliances, preparing units for occupancy, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Candidates should possess physical strength for carrying items and have relevant certifications in maintenance fields.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 110 pounds
- Occasional squatting, reaching, stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, and balancing
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record
- Reliable means of transportation
- Proof of personal auto liability insurance when using vehicles for company business
Desired Qualifications
- Pool certification preferred
- HVAC certification preferred
- Boiler certification if appropriate
Additional Requirements
