Job Summary
Maintenance Technician in a hotel environment responsible for a broad range of repairs and upkeep to keep hotel facilities in good condition. Performs carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and masonry tasks, maintains all fixtures and equipment per preventative maintenance schedules, logs maintenance activities, replaces worn parts, assists with moving furniture and loading supplies, cleans and maintains public and storage areas, supports snow removal, and services pool and spa areas in compliance with state/city regulations. Responds to guest requests and complaints promptly, maintaining positive relationships with guests, internal teams, and contractors. Requires ability to work independently or in teams, attention to detail, and prioritization of multiple tasks; preferred qualifications include high school diploma or GED, related college or vocational training, and specialized technical craft knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred; two years of college or vocational training in electrical or mechanical engineering or plumbing preferred.
- Specialization in technical crafts (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) is preferred.
- Able to utilize quick thinking and apply quick resolution to hotel maintenance issues in accordance to the brand standards.
