Job Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, your role involves resolving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair issues while delivering exceptional customer service to residents. You will prepare apartments for new move-ins, maintain the cleanliness and safety of the property, and be available for on-call emergencies. The position allows for professional growth, including the opportunity to earn EPA certification.
Required Qualifications
- Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair
- Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation
- The ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly
- Personal, reliable transportation to get to work and to respond to on-call emergencies
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades
- Basic computer skills and comfort using various software, apps and computer programs
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A sharp professional appearance
- A service mentality and a thirst for learning
