Job Summary
Maintenance Technician role at Bozzuto focusing on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair, with on-call rotations and weekend/evening availability. Responsibilities include resolving service tickets, preventative maintenance, turnover repairs for vacant apartments, general upkeep and grounds maintenance, and delivering exceptional resident service. Requires experience in building maintenance or related trades, beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC/plumbing/electrical/appliance repair, on-call emergency availability, physical ability to lift 25–50 lbs (and 10–20 lbs constantly), reliable transportation, strong communication, professional appearance, basic computer skills, and a customer-service mindset. Eligible for on-site bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits; EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Certification may be earned after 12 months at Bozzuto.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades
- Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair
- Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation
- Ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly
- Personal, reliable transportation to get to work and to respond to on-call emergencies
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A sharp professional appearance
- Basic computer skills and comfort using various software, apps and computer programs
- A service mentality and a thirst for learning
