Job Summary
Maintenance Technician II (Body Prep) on D Shift (Nights) at Dal-Tile/Mohawk Industries. Performs complex mechanical duties and electrical trade functions, troubleshoots PLCs, designs/programs PLCs and operator panels, handles computer setup, installs/repairs equipment for electrical energy distribution, interprets blueprints/layouts, understands VFDs and servomotors, supports process improvements, and ensures safety and housekeeping in a manufacturing environment. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, PLC training preferred, associate degree in industrial electronics preferred, and 3+ years electro-mechanical maintenance experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience. Knowledge of electrical code. Formal PLC training preferred.
- Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred.
- 3 or more year’s industrial electro- mechanical maintenance experience.
- Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)
