Job Summary
Conduct preventative maintenance and repair of machinery in Electronics Assembly, including troubleshooting and repairing printed circuit boards to component level. Read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals while collaborating with technical support groups to resolve equipment issues. Apply mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge to address hydraulic system challenges and robotics programming problems. Stand for extended periods, handle components, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds in an environment exposed to moving vehicles and machinery. Work the second shift with availability for daily and weekend overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, etc.
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be able to work with technical support groups for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair printed circuit boards to component level
- Available for daily and weekend overtime
- Experience with IA and other robotics programming and problem-solving
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
- Basic understanding of hydraulic systems
- Three (3) + years in a technical or mechanical position
- High School Diploma or GED
- In most cases the position will be required to stand for extended periods
- use hands and fingers to handle or feel
- The position may occasionally need to lift/pull up to 50 pounds
- have specific vision abilities related to close and color vision
- While performing the job the position is highly exposed to moving vehicles/machinery and factory equipment
- The position may be required to work overtime to meet deadlines and requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Five (5) + years in a manufacturing environment
- Pass Mechanical Aptitude test
- Preventative maintenance experience
- VTI experience
- Molding and coatings experience
- PLC/Robotics programming
