Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Respond to client service requests and monitor work orders in the management system, including off-hour emergency calls. Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe conditions, then troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend upgrades to mechanical and building systems. Maintain facility equipment according to preventative maintenance plans, order parts and supplies, and forward high-level technical issues to appropriate resources. Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure work meets standards while demonstrating strong communication skills with internal and external clients.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- One year of experience with building/facility operations or training equivalent
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Ability to work independently and contribute positively to teamwork
- Problem Solving approach to review potential solutions and provide timely client service
- Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge of maintaining building infrastructure
- Experience in mechanical/electrical service, install, or repair
- Strong communication skills with verbal and written messaging
- Working at heights training/certification
