Job Summary
Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, then maintain facility equipment per the preventative maintenance plan. Troubleshoot issues, evaluate needs, and recommend upgrades while ordering parts and supplies. Respond to customer service requests, monitor work orders, and handle off-hour emergency calls. Work with vendors and contractors to ensure work meets standards, receiving direction from the Lead Facility Engineer or Facility Manager. Perform routine maintenance tasks and forward high-level technical issues to appropriate resources. Requires one year of building operations experience and ability to lift 75 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience with building /facility operations or training equivalent
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent work experience required
- Ability to work at heights and from ladders
- Ability to regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Respond to off hour emergency calls
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge of with maintaining building infrastructure is preferred
