Job Summary
Execute reactive and pre-planned maintenance works across the Malta office, including painting, decorating, basic plumbing, and minor electrical tasks. Maintain building infrastructure to the highest standards while ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Executive legislation, COSHH regulations, and fire equipment protocols. Provide an on-call response to out-of-hours emergencies on a rota basis, with overtime required on weekends for critical works. Prioritize tasks effectively within a team environment to support essential building services and uphold operational safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in multiple maintenance disciplines
- Understanding of health and safety regulations, including Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), risk assessments and permits to work
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Knowledge of fire equipment, such as fire doors and extinguishers
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Capacity to prioritise tasks with a flexible approach to working
- Capability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Experience working within facilities management of commercial buildings
- Must be available for on-call service which operates on a rota basis
- Must be available for overtime on weekends for critical works
- Must be available to work Monday to Friday
