Job Summary
Conduct general maintenance for residential properties in NW DC, covering plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC systems. Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspect buildings daily for safety hazards, and repair defective equipment parts using hand and power tools. Operate machine tools to fabricate parts, install energy efficiency equipment, and maintain grounds including landscaping and snow removal. Handle resident service requests, coordinate subcontractors, and refurbish vacancies within prescribed time limits. Perform on-call duties after hours on a rotational basis and run work-related errands for the manager.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Two to four years previous experience
- Reliable
