Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on guest rooms, public spaces, and the physical structure while completing work orders from guests and associates. Execute major repairs and replacements for electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and kitchen equipment. Service the hotel pool by adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters, and refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms. Respond courteously to guest questions, complaints, and requests to ensure satisfaction. Execute special projects as assigned by the Chief of Engineering or Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years Prior maintenance experience
- Certification or license required (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, General Contracting)
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
- Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to bend and squat repeatedly
- Ability to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
- Painting / Wallcovering experience required
- Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of the methods and procedures involved in machine maintenance and repair
- Able to troubleshoot and do root cause analysis of production and electro-mechanical problems
- Electro-mechanical technician background - Electrical testing
- Machining and welding skills
- PLC knowledge and ability to operate necessary machines and maintenance equipment
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
