Maintenance Technician - AYA ABQ

This role performs technical and mechanical work to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality. Responsibilities include completing assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and performing repairs; completing the make-ready process for vacant units, including pre-move-out inspections and creating a punch list; managing materials and inventory, documenting work, and coordinating with supervisors; assisting with grounds and common area upkeep (e.g., pressure washing, cleaning, painting); supporting cost-control by using materials efficiently; adhering to safety and risk-management policies, attending safety trainings, and potentially inspecting contractor work; flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays; and requiring required state/local certifications and a valid driver's license where applicable. Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds with assistance, and optional travel for training or coverage.
