Job Summary
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production and packaging equipment within a food manufacturing facility, focusing on minimizing downtime and maintaining equipment reliability. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems across processing lines while diagnosing faults, replacing components, and testing performance. Support equipment changeovers, setups, and line adjustments, and perform emergency repairs to ensure safe and efficient operations. Maintain records of repairs and parts usage, keep the maintenance shop organized, and handle basic facility tasks including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Ensure full compliance with GMP, food safety, and operational standards while working in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or Industrial Mechanic (Minimum 2–3 Years)
- Ability to read electrical prints and work across multiple voltages
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Knowledge of GMP and food safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Proficient in High Speed Packaging and Processing
- Proficient in Industrial Maintenance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within food manufacturing or high-speed production environments preferred
