Job Summary
Maintenance Technician role providing entry-level maintenance, repair, and preventive/corrective service for production equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include repairing and maintaining equipment, troubleshooting, documenting maintenance needs, coordinating with outside contractors, conducting inspections (including quarterly ESD inspections), and ensuring compliance with AS9100 and company procedures. Requires quick learning with training provided, ability to work in a team, manage multiple projects, and operate or verify equipment after repairs. Skills include familiarity with a wide range of tools (hand, power, machine), basic computer skills (Windows, Excel, Word), and comfort with robotic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. The position emphasizes safety awareness, problem solving, and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- One year of related experience in equipment maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of hand, power and machine tools
- Ability to lift 30-50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Proficiency with Windows computers and MS Excel and Word
- Comfortable working with complex computer controlled robotic, mechanical and pneumatic systems
- Good written and verbal communication skills
