Job Summary
Maintenance Technician position at Avilla Silver Palm in Land O' Lakes, FL. Responsibilities include completing maintenance service requests (drywall, painting, carpentry, HVAC and other appliances), assisting with turnkey operations to prepare vacant units rent-ready, plumbing repairs (faucets, toilets, hot water tanks), appliance maintenance (garbage disposals, dishwashers, refrigerators), grounds maintenance (trash pickup, sweeping, pressure washing, landscaping), and adhering to OSHA safety standards. The role may require on-call and non-traditional schedules including evenings, weekends, and special events. Ideal candidate has a high school diploma or vocational training, 1+ year maintenance experience, and may hold licensing/trade certification in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or specialized vocational training
- 1+ years experience in building and facility maintenance (preferred)
