Maintenance Technician - Austin Industrial (Phoenix)

Job Summary
Provide mechanical services to support production and ensure safe plant operation by maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, including reactors, pumps, and packaging machinery. Conduct preventative maintenance on utilities, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while investigating equipment failures to diagnose faults and make recommendations. Confer with management to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and install new machinery in line with design plans. Work closely with Engineering to implement continuous improvement initiatives. Requires 3-5 years of journeyman-level mechanical maintenance experience, NCCER Boilermaker certification, and a valid driver's license. No per diem or relocation funding is provided.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Mechanical Maintenance experience
- NCCER Boilermaker certification
- Valid Driver's License
- TWIC Card
- 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
- Regularly required to sit

Desired Qualifications
- Experiences and knowledge with maintaining industrial equipment (reactor, blending vessel, dryer, heat exchanger, vacuum pump)
- Packaging equipment (blister, bottle, box, label, pouch, sealer, wrap, box)
- Automated equipment (robotic, HMI, PLC)
- Conducting Preventative Maintenance work, including the review and evaluation of its cost-effectiveness and performance
- Working closely with the Engineering to implement continuous improvement initiatives and install new equipment
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of production plan maintenance including hydraulics, pneumatics, utilities (chiller, compressed air, hot water, hot oil, and LNC), pumps, reactors, rotary equipment, pressure vessels, etc.
