Job Summary
Monitor and report deviations from HACCP and SQF programs, then inspect, diagnose, and repair all plant equipment including PLCs, HVAC, and refrigeration systems. Weld, fabricate, and assemble parts for industrial machinery while maintaining records, inventory, and work areas in accordance with GMP and SQF standards. Assist team members on repairs, participate in training, and collaborate on continuous improvement projects. Work nights and weekends in a fast-paced refrigerated dairy facility, adhering to strict safety protocols and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of PLC, mechanical, electrical, refrigeration systems and process technology
- Experience with high-speed packaging equipment
- Education and/or experience supporting industrial networking
- Education and/or experience supporting Rockwell Automation, PLCs and VFDs
- Education and/or experience programming or altering programs in PLCs, HMI, VFD, RSlinx
- Education and/or experience installing and calibrating industrial sensors, meters, level, temperature, PH and flow
- Ability to utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects and repairs
- Must be able to regularly stand, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl around equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions, often in wet and/or humid conditions
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Must have ability to work nights and weekends
- Must be comfortable working with electrical equipment and high-speed packaging equipment
