Job Summary
Paint, patch, and perform minor repairs on architectural features, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to meet client standards. Follow safety practices and policies to promote safe working conditions, while managing equipment maintenance and arranging repairs to avoid service disruptions. Operate various machinery including scrubbers and pressure washers, and climb ladders or stand on various surfaces for extended periods. Lift items up to 50 pounds and work in diverse environments such as cold weather, rain, snow, or heat. Maintain a proactive approach in anticipating customer needs and communicating effectively with patrons and employees.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Successful completion of a background investigation
- Successful completion of a drug screen
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Proactive approach in anticipating, listening to, understanding, and responding to customer needs
- Experience providing quality maintenance services in all trades - HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and building plans
- Strong electrical background
- Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards for maintenance programs
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliability on completing tasks that can be repetitive
- Ability to work in various working conditions and environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat for extended periods
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment and machinery including scrubbers, pressure washer, and carpet extractor
- Ability to climb ladders, stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry items and/or machinery up to 50 pounds
- Ability to grab, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, reach overhead, and operate equipment frequently and repetitively during working hours
